The countdown to Christmas got into full swing this weekend with nearly 80 CancerCare supporters kitted out in Father Christmas suits and reindeer antlers dashing through the streets of Lancaster.

They ran, jogged, walked, danced, rolled and jingled their way from Salt Ayre Sports Centre into Market Square. The Mayor of Lancaster, Paul Woodruff also showed his support. Ludus Dance and Bay Beat Carnival Band got everyone moving!

We owe thanks to so many people and in particular, The Bay, St Nicholas Arcade, Market Gate Shopping Centre, The Runners Centre, Bowland Water, Hartley Hire, MMX Solutions... the list goes on and there are too many to mention here but we are very grateful for the generosity of all our supporters and volunteers.

Sponsorship money is still rolling in... cut off date 15th Jan 2012.
