Fundraising Tips

Fundraising works best when lots of people do a little bit so we’re asking all our Santas and Reindeer to try to raise just £20 each in sponsorship.

Fundraising can be a lot of fun and is now easier than it has ever been with the help of the internet. To get you started, why not set up a justgiving page? It's very easy to use and a lot less hassle for you as you don't have to collect in any money after the event. Go to www.justgiving.com to set up your own personalised fundraising page. Santa Dash & Reindeer Run is already listed with justgiving to make things even easier for you… just select the event for your page. Finally, email the link to everyone you know, post it on your Facebook page, 'tweet' about it... anything that helps to spread the word about what you're doing.  

To maximise your sponsorship please ensure that any donors who are UK taxpayers include their name, address and postcode and tick the Gift Aid box on your sponsor form (this comes up automatically with justgiving). This enables the charity to claim an additional 25% tax back on donations without it costing your sponsors a penny extra!
